*textile Christmas ornaments, Ten Thousand Villages

Misc.

I just love the look of these beautiful hand-made ornaments. I haven’t let myself decorate the house yet for the holidays — but I couldn’t resist stopping in at my favorite not for profit fair-trade shop, Ten Thousand Villages! Each piece is made by artisans from various countries throughout the world. Many of the beaded ornaments are crafted in India — and so thoughtfully. We own a couple of these from over the years, the hanging stars are a favorite of mine and I think I’ll just leave them up because they are so lovely to look at year-round. If fair trade is important to you, then be sure to do some shopping this season at Ten Thousand Villages. You’ll be happy you did!
